9) Can anyone use AllOne Mobile on their phone? AllOne Mobile’s technology will work on all smartphones and on the majority of non-business, mobile consumer devices.
10) How does AllOne Mobile protect critical personal health information? The same proven technology used in international banking and finance is used to protect AllOne Mobile health information from medical identity theft. AllOne Mobile data is stored behind a dual-authenticated password-protected channel through a partnership with Diversinet, a leading provider of wireless security applications. During user registration, AllOne Mobile wirelessly downloads a small application to the mobile device. The application requests a personal identification number (PIN) each time the user wants to access the data that resides inside the mobile device.
11) What happens if a mobile phone with AllOne Mobile installed is lost or stolen? Access to the personal health record is secure and is not accessible without the user’s personal identification number (PIN). If the registered phone is lost or stolen, the user may contact AllOne Mobile to ensure the data is no longer accessible on the phone, even with the PIN. If a user acquires a new phone, the service can be re-initiated on the new device. This level of security and control gives users the confidence and comfort to manage their personal health records using the mobile phone or the Web.
